Golden Grove used to be called "The Herald's Hall of California". The chapter was founded in October 1989 by Christa Miller, which makes it one of the oldest chapters of QO. The original newsletter was called "The California Arrow". The "Arrow" came out bimonthly and included con dates, book reviews, biographies of members, places to go, and so forth.
While we adore the Valdemar series, Misty has written about many different worlds that are equally as wonderful. If you are interested in reading some of her other works, you can find them in the Mercedes Lackey section of the Dragonlords' Bookstore. A portion of all sales through this site go to support QO, which is how memberships in the fan club stay free.
