Excerpts from

Dumnonian Visions

by

(Revised 11/14/97)

Beware of Him who rebels against the Light! The murderer rises in the Darkness, and He comes as a thief in the night. An adulterer who disguises His face, He feeds on barren women. Darkness is as Light to Him, and He befriends the terrors of the night. Yet the Lord of Light shall sustain the life of the valiant by His power, and they shall rise up against the Darkness even when they despair of life.

What I tell you in Darkness, speak in the Light; and what you hear in secret, preach from the mountaintops. Fear not those who kill the body: They are not able to kill the soul. Rather fear the foul being in Cinnamar who is able to destroy both body and soul. Think not that I am come to bring peace to Centuria: I do not bring peace, but a sword. I come to set four men against their father, and a woman against her children, and the daughter-in-law against her father-in-law. With my coming a man's foes shall be of his own household. He who loveth his father or his mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he who loveth his son or his daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and father shall deliver up child. And the children shall rise against their parents and cause them to be sent to their deaths.
