King Arthur

Wolfram von Eschenbach

Wolfram was to the German Arthurian tradition what Chretien was to the French. He tells a slightly different version of the tales from the rest of the tradition, and his works exhibit quite a bit of influence from the Crusades.

 Parzival
A.T. Hatto's excellent translation of Wolfram's Grail classic.

 Parzival
Andre Lefevere's edition of Wolfram's most famous poem.

 Parzival
The Random House edition of the poem that inspired Wagner's opera by the same name.
